Section 3: The administrative affairs of the Department shall be vested in a State
Executive Committee composed of the Department Commander, The Senior And
Junior Vice Commanders, The Department Inspector, The Treasurer, The
Department Judge Advocate, The Department Adjutant and The Department
Sergeant-At-Arms. All Past Department Commanders in good standing who have
attended at least (2) State Executive Committee meeting within the previous
Administrative year,
AND ONE VOTING DELEGATE FROM EACH CHAPTER IN GOOD STANDING IN
THE DEPARTMENT. SAID CHAPTER DELEGATE SHELL BE THE CHAPTER
COMMANDER; CHAPTER ALTERNATES SHELL BE SENIOR AND JUNIOR
VICE COMMANDERS RESPECTIVELY. IF EITHER THE DELEGATE OR
ALTERNATES ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND, THE CHAPTER COMMANDER WILL
DESIGNATE A MEMBER OF HIS/HER CHAPTER IN WRITING, DELIVERED TO
THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE.
Each of said members of said Executive committee shell have one vote, and the
Presiding Officer thereof shell only vote In the Event of a TIE Vote. The Executive
Committee shell operate under parliamentary procedure, Subject to it's own rules.
